KYMIRA is looking to hire an IT and Systems Technician to help grow our IT team within a fast-growing company, providing technical support in all areas and assist in the release of our unique new products.

Job Summary

Working under our IT lead, the IT and Systems Technician will be responsible for maintaining and developing IT infrastructure solutions as well as providing support for end-users and the customers across the globe. We are looking for a technical problem-solver with experience across Microsoft suite and cloud tools (Azure, 365 etc). You will also participate in the planning and implementation of upgrades to ensure the continued development of the organization.

It is an exciting time for the company as we near the launch of our new cutting-edge smart garments. Within the roll you will help support this new technology via our helpdesk system. We are looking for someone hard working, to be nurtured and to grow alongside the company as we enter a new phase in our journey.

You will:

  • Configure, install, and maintain computer hardware, networks, operating systems, and applications
  • Manage user accounts and workstations
  • Provide support to our global customer base
  • Monitor and maintain company IT systems
  • Create and maintain hardware and software inventories
  • Perform monthly checks ensure that the systems are kept up to date with the latest bug fixes, patches, updates, and virus definitions
  • Producing documentation as we build out our ICT wiki
  • Take ownership of issues and maintain ticket updates as progressing with the issue
  • Troubleshoot issues with company systems and web portals
  • Consult with the R&D team for bug fixes to our internal systems

You are:

  • Fluency in English both verbal and written
  • Organised and diligent in producing documentation
  • A good problem-solver
  • Passionate about IT
  • Able to work effectively under pressure
  • Able to communicate ideas and work collaboratively within a team

You have:

  • Understanding of Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Windows
  • Good knowledge of MDM systems such as Intune
  • Experience with helpdesk systems and customer relations
  • A degree in IT, Computer Science, or similar, or an equivalent professional certification
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles
  • Experience troubleshoot system and network problems and diagnose and solve hardware/software faults.

You ideally have:

  • Formal Cybersecurity and System Administration qualifications
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Exam AZ-900
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps Solutions AZ-400
  • Experience with Agile work practices

Remuneration and Benefits

  • Annual salary of £26,000 – £30,000 (dependant on experience) with long term development prospects.
